PatCom Patient Head Model
This 3D-printed head model, designed by PatCom Medical, was created to bridge the gap in scoping instruction and provide additional education for clinical training and relevance. We know how important it is to understand the anatomy and physiology of the swallow mechanisms as well as various pathologies that can be seen when scoping. Our head model, which includes a normal anatomy larynx, also provides new endoscopists the chance to pass on a model prior to a live person. Eight additional soft larynxes showing pathologies and a bronchial extension, which can be used for training to place a tracheal cannula, are available as add-ons.
Features
The head model comes with the following anatomical components (including all internal structures):
Nasal cavity
Oral cavity
Pharynx
Larynx
Esophagus
Larynx Add-ons with pathologies
In addition to the normal anatomy larynx, which is already included in the PatCom Head Model bundle, we offer eight additional soft larynxes showing pathologies. They can be easily removed and replaced at any time. The different add-ons can be used to show and explain the pathologies in more detail and also help in FEES education and training.
